# Exporting data to CSV

Exporting data in CSV format allows you to work with the data in a spreadsheet like Excel.

The composition of the file can be customized:

-   **General** : file name
-   **Filter** : allows you to apply filters to certain information. You must click the "Add a condition on..." button to select the filter element(s) and the condition linked to that element.
-   **Sorts** : allows you to choose the order and element by which the data will be displayed
-   **Columns** : allows you to choose the column(s) in the data and in what order.

#### ❓Can I import a CSV file into Sigabill?

No. It is possible to export Sigabill data to a CSV file, but it is not possible to import into Sigabill.

By exporting data in CSV format, it allows you to manipulate the data to produce reports that complement Sigabill reports, such as:
