# Working date

The **working date** that is automatically displayed when opening the application is the computer's current date. This date comes from Windows settings. It is possible to change the working date so that all operations completed in Sigabill are saved and posted to this date.

### Changing the working date

At the top of the Sigabill page, change the working date. No need to save the information! This date will apply to all sheets opened after changing the date. The dates of sheets already open will not be affected.

#### Why should I change the working date?

Some users wish to issue a series of invoices on a specific date. This date can be in the past or future. To avoid having to enter the desired date for each operation, simply change the working date.

#### I would like to change the date of an invoice or a payment receipt. Is this possible?

It is not possible to change the date of an item that has been saved and posted. You must delete the item with the incorrect date and recreate it on the correct date.
