# Enable automatic deposit of receipts

It is possible to add a receipt and have it directly considered deposited. This automation avoids having to add deposits after adding receipts. Receipts recorded with other payment methods must be included in a Deposit for transfer to SigaFinance evo.

### Configure a payment method for automatic deposit

Automatic deposit of receipts is reserved for certain payment methods:

-   Direct payment
-   Internet
-   Interac e-Transfer
-   Mobile deposit

It is possible to add new payment methods, but the payment method type must be one of those intended for automatic deposit.

### Enable automatic deposit of receipts

1.  Go to the Settings menu
2.  Click on General Settings
3.  In the Receipt section, enable **"Deposit automatically according to payment method"**

### Add a receipt that will be deposited automatically

1.  Enter the receipt information: **Date, Amount received**
2.  Choose a **payment method**
3.  Check that the "**Deposit automatically**" box is checked
4.  Save; the deposit will be created automatically. Importing the deposit into EVO is already available. When the receipt information is saved, a confirmation is displayed at the bottom of the screen.

No additional steps are necessary. When importing deposits into SigaFinance evo, this receipt will be available.
