Add a deposit

The deposit date will be used as the entry date in SigaFinance EVO accounting.

Add a deposit

1. Go to menu Billing
2. Select the item "Deposit list"
3. Click the button Add
4. Complete the deposit
5. 1. Enter the date for the deposit (which can also be modified)
   2. Select the bank account
   3. Check the receipt(s) to include in the deposit; it is possible to select all receipts selected for a deposit.
   4. If needed, enter a note for this deposit
5. Save. The deposit will become locked and will be available for import to SigaFinance EVO.
6. If needed, it is possible to print the slip; the deposit number will be assigned by Sigabill according to the Print Settings.

I entered a deposit with the wrong date. How do I correct the date in accounting?

Once a deposit number has been assigned to a deposit, it can no longer be modified. It must be deleted and recreated with the correct date. It is best to cancel the deposit on the same date as the original deposit. A cancellation deposit will be available for deposit importing.

I am adding a deposit and I do not see all the recorded receipts. Why?

For recorded receipts to be visible in deposits, the payment methods used in these undeposited receipts must be linked to a bank account. Receipts made using these unlinked payment methods will not be available for a deposit. You must check and modify the payment method information (Customers menu, Payment methods item).

How do I check if all my deposits have been imported into SigaFinance EVO?

This check must be done in SigaFinance EVO (Exchanges menu, Import deposits).

What is the deposit slip used for?

The slip contains the deposit details: the user's banking information, the list of all receipts included in this deposit by payment method. A table to indicate cash is printed. Printing the slip is not required for subsequent operations. The slip is always available for viewing and/or printing.
