Accounts Receivable

The Accounts Receivable worksheet displays a summary of amounts owed by customers. It can be viewed on screen, printed as a report, or exported in CSV format.

The accounts receivable are displayed according to several customizable criteria: report date (the work date is used by default), report type, customer selection, with or without undeposited payments.

When a change is made to the selection, click the Refresh button to apply the modification to the selection.

Report Date

By default, the work date will be used to display Accounts Receivable. The report date can be modified. Changing the date affects the displayed results.

Customer Selection

When opening the worksheet, customers with balances other than $0 are displayed. The view can be modified using the selection buttons: All customers, Filtered customers, or Selected customers. Additional filters can also be defined to meet the user's needs.

Report Type

The Summary type displays a summary of Accounts Receivable along with an aging breakdown of accounts.

The Detailed by Invoice type displays Accounts Receivable by invoice in addition to the aging breakdown of accounts. This format is only available when printing the report.

Amounts by customer

It is possible to display the Amounts Receivable by:

  • Sold to
  • Shipped to

Include receipts by date

Undeposited receipts (received and applied in the customer file) can affect the Amounts Receivable. A check is performed between the report date and the receipt or deposit date.

For the same date, the Amounts Receivable report must always match the receivable account linked to Sigabill, usually account 12000. Invoice and deposit imports must be up to date in SigaFinance EVO.

  • The account 12000 in EVO contains Amounts Receivable and Deposits (imported invoices and deposits)
  • The Amounts Receivable report contains Amounts Receivable and Receipts (deposited or not).

❓Frequently asked questions

I see voided invoices on the Amounts Receivable - Detailed by Invoice report. How do I remove them?

You must collect canceled invoices so they no longer appear in the customer's current invoices.
