Sales by product and service
The Sales by product and service report allows you to view sales by products and services in summary form (by customer) or detailed form (by invoice). This report is displayed according to several customizable criteria, including the date of the period covered by the report and the choice of products and services. Invoices must be locked to be included in this report.
To produce this report, you must specify the period covered by the report by indicating a period start date and an end date. To update the displayed results when criteria are modified, click on the Refresh
On-screen results
The table presents the information matching the specified criteria. The display order of the information can be changed. This display order will apply to the final report. In this table, invoice details and subtotals are not displayed. You must generate the report to see the details.
Summary Report
The list of products and services invoiced for the specified period (up to the exact day) is presented with the following information:
- code and description of each item
- quantities and units
- total sales (before taxes)
- product or customer discounts
- subtotal (taking discounts into account)
A grand total of the amounts is displayed on the summary report of Sales by products and services.
Detailed Report
Products and services
Products and services invoiced to clients during the period (to the exact day) are listed in the display order applied in the selection table.
Product and service subtotal
Allows you to add a subtotal for products and services. The available subtotal choices are: monthly, weekly, or daily.
Sum quantities
Allows you to add total quantities. If a subtotal was requested, quantity subtotals will also be displayed according to the selection.
Invoice details
Invoices are displayed in chronological order. The list of products and services invoiced for the specified period (to the exact day) is presented with the following information:
- code and description for each item
- quantities and units
- total sales (before taxes)
- product or customer discounts
- subtotal (taking discounts into account)
A grand total of amounts is displayed on the Sales by Products and Services summary report. If subtotals were specified, they will also be displayed.
